Our quiet dog friendly campsite in Sussex is ideal for couples and families looking for a countryside escape, while still being within easy reach of charming villages, bustling market towns and the vibrant Sussex coast. With only five pitches, guests can enjoy plenty of space, peaceful surroundings and spectacular sunsets across the surrounding fields.
Whether you’re planning a short weekend break or a longer touring holiday, Pellingford Brook CL is an excellent base for exploring the South Downs, walking, cycling and discovering the many attractions nearby. Wildlife is abundant around the site, making it a wonderful place to enjoy the sounds of nature and experience the slower pace of country life.
The picturesque village of Ditchling is less than five miles away and is one of Sussex’s most popular destinations. Known for its historic High Street, independent shops, welcoming restaurants and traditional village atmosphere, Ditchling is also surrounded by some of England’s finest vineyards. Many local vineyards offer tours and wine tastings, making the area a fantastic destination for lovers of English sparkling wine and local produce.
Just three miles from the campsite is Haywards Heath, where you’ll find supermarkets, cafés, restaurants, pubs and a wide range of everyday amenities. Haywards Heath railway station provides fast and convenient train services to London, making Pellingford Brook CL an excellent choice for visitors wanting to combine a peaceful countryside stay with easy access to the capital.
The historic county town of Lewes and the vibrant seaside city of Brighton are both less than 30 minutes away by car. Explore Brighton’s famous beach, Royal Pavilion, independent shopping lanes and lively restaurants, or spend the day discovering Lewes’ historic castle, antique shops, breweries and riverside walks. The South Downs National Park also offers miles of beautiful walking and cycling routes right on your doorstep.
We know many of our guests travel with their four legged companions, which is why we’re pleased to offer a secure dog exercise pen on site. This fully enclosed area allows dogs to enjoy off lead exercise in a safe environment, giving both owners and pets the opportunity to relax and enjoy their holiday.
